DAVIS, Calif.-- The UC Davis men's soccer program will welcome back its alumni for a variety of weekend activities surrounding Picnic Day, head coach Dwayne Shaffer has announced. The highlight of the festivities will be the alumni game, which takes place at 2 p.m. on Apr. 18 at Aggie Soccer Stadium.

Activities open to alumni and other program supporters include a golf tournament on Friday afternoon (Apr. 17) at Wildhorse Golf Club in Davis. The round begins at 2 p.m. and will be followed by a soccer social in the Bruce Edwards Club Room at Aggie Stadium. The social will run from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Saturday's alumni game will be played as part of the university's annual Picnic Day and will feature former Aggies against the current varsity squad. Former greats who are scheduled to make an appearance include Ryan Shaw, Russ Brown, Dylan Curtis and Cal Aggie Hall of Famer Peter Faeth.
