DAVIS, Calif. - The UC Davis men's tennis team picked up a 7-0 non-conference victory over Swarthmore Monday at the Marya Welch Tennis Center. The Aggies swept through doubles and singles and snapped an eight-match losing streak in he process. All six singles matches were decided in straight sets.

In doubles, Hunter Lee and Nick Lopez defeated Zak Kelm and Kevin Shaughnessy, 8-6, at No. 1. More victories came at No. 2 and No. 3. Nic Amaroli and Michael Resier posted an 8-3 win over Mark Greenberg and Stephen Youngblood at No. 2. Tyler Lee and Kevin Liang made quick work of Maxwell Bressman and Eric Legunn with an 8-1 victory at No. 3.

Lopez anchored the UC Davis singles attack with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Youngblood at No. 1. Reiser prevailed at No. 2 against Shaughnessy, 6-4, 6-2. Hunter Lee and Chris Aria were also straight sets winners at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively. Amaroli defeated Bressman at No. 5, 6-1, 6-3. Tyler Lee was also a winner at No. 6 after a 6-0, 6-3 win over Legunn.

UC Davis (2-9) is not in action again until after the quarter break. The Aggies' next match is March 27 at home against Montana.
