DAVIS, Calif. - Nevada defeated host UC Davis, 7-0, Sunday in a non-conference men's tennis match at the Marya Welch Tennis Center. The Wolf Pack won two out of three in doubles before sweeping singles.
The Aggie duo of Nic Amaroli and Michael Reiser picked up an 8-2 victory at No. 2 doubles over Benjamin David and Augustin Myard. Nevada won at No. 1 and No. 3 to claim the first point of the day.
The Wolf Pack won three times in singles in straight sets. For UC Davis (1-9), Chris Aria and Tyler Lee battled to thee sets at No. 3 and No. 6, respectively. Reiser lost in a third-set super-tiebreaker at No. 2.
The Aggies will be back in action Monday afternoon when they host Swarthmore at 2 p.m.
