SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The UC Davis softball team defeated San Diego, 3-0, Saturday night to complete a sweep of action on their first day at the San Diego Classic I. Alex Holmes did most of the damage for the Aggies in the circle and at the plate as UC Davis improved to 10-3 on the year. USD fell to 3-10.

Emde added a sacrifice fly in the fifth to give UC Davis a 4-0 lead. A fifth run came home in the sixth on a throwing error.
