MORAGA, Calif. - Noelle Eades and Shawdee Rouhafza each won singles matches on Saturday to advance to the semifinals of their draw as the UC Davis women's tennis team completed the second day of the Saint Mary's Fall Invitational in Moraga. Eades and Rouhafza will compete in Sunday's semifinals with a chance to meet each other in the final.

Eades defeated San Francisco's Blair Reed, 6-0, 6-4, in the Blue singles quarterfinals. In another quarterfinal match-up, Rouhafza posted a 6-3, 6-4 win over Gonzaga's Britta Stime. Lauren Curry was defeated in the same draw and round by Pacific's Olga Gumenyuk.

Additional Aggies in action on Saturday included Ellie Edles. The freshman was defeated in the White quarterfinals by Stanford's Jen Yen, 6-0, 6-2. Dahra Zamudio won her round robin consolation match against Gonzaga's Gabrielle Verspieren, 6-1, 6-2.

In doubles, Curry and Sidney Brady were defeated by Stanford's Natalie Dillon and Logan Hansen, 8-1. Desiree Stone teamed with Zamudio in a Red doubles consolation loss.

Both Eades and Rouhafza will play in separate semifinal matches on Sunday beginning at 9:30 a.m. The Blue singles final is scheduled for 1 p.m.
