DAVIS, Calif. - UC Davis defeated Swarthmore College, 7-0, Saturday afternoon in a non-conference men's tennis match at the Marya Welch Tennis Center. The Aggies won all doubles and singles matches on their way to the shutout. The win improves UC Davis to 7-6 on the year.

In doubles, Justin Garcia and Henri Landes posted an 8-1 victory over Jonathan Lo and Kevin Shaughnessy at No. 1. The Aggies also picked up victories at No. 2 and No. 3. Daniel Elefant and Michael Reiser defeated J.J. England and Mark Greenburg, 8-2, on court 2, and Nic Amaroli and Kevin Liang were 8-4 winners over Justin diFeliciantonio and Mark Wee at No. 3.

The Aggies were equally dominant in singles as they won all six matches in straight sets. Landes defeated Lo at No. 1, 6-3, 6-3, and Reiser did the same to Shaughnessy at No. 2 by a score of 6-0, 6-2.

At No. 3, Garcia defeated Wee, 6-1, 7-5, and Nick Lopez was a 6-1, 6-2 winner at No. 4 over England. Elefant and Tyler Lee both won their matches, 6-1, 6-0, at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively.

With the loss, Swarthmore fell to 1-2 on the year.

UC Davis is back in action Sunday when it hosts Sonoma State at 1 p.m.
