FRESNO, Calif. - UC Davis concluded play at the Fresno State Bulldog Classic Saturday with the majority of its action taking place in doubles. The start of play was delayed by rain and forced matches to begin in the afternoon. Once play began, the Aggies had two doubles teams in action along with one singles match.

In the A doubles round of 16, Nic Amaroli and Hunter Lee were defeated by Fresno State's Remi Boutillier and Rikus DeVilliers, 8-2. In the B draw, Chris Aria and Kevin Liang were defeated by UC Irvine's Steven Henderson and Guatam Vaidyantham, 8-2.

In singles consolation action, Nick Hallchurch was downed by Cal Poly's Nick Berger, 6-3, 6-3, in the quarterfinals.

UC Davis is next in action Oct. 17 at the ITA Northwest Championships in Berkeley.
