BERKELEY, Calif. - The UC Davis men's tennis team continued play, Saturday, at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Northwest Championships. Eight Aggies were in action on the tournament's second day, including four doubles matches in the main draw along with various consolation matches in singles and doubles.
Among the doubles matches, Washington's Brad Bator and Alex Rosinski defeated the Aggies' Nick Hallchurch and Tyler Lee, 8-2. Kevin Liang and Nick Lopez were defeated by San Francisco's Jacob Hartwig and Michael Carreno, 8-6.
In the first round of the singles consolation, Sacramento State's Marko Starcevic defeated Nic Amaroli, 3-6, 7-6 (4), 1-0 (10-7). The Aggies' Hunter Lee received byes in the first two rounds and is scheduled to play Sunday in the third round of the consolation draw.
