MORAGA, Calif. - UC Davis concluded play at the Saint Mary's Invitational Sunday as Jessica Harris defeated teammate Anita Athavale in the Flight C consolation final. In addition, Athavale would team with Emma Shapiro to win the Flight B doubles consolation final. Jenna Kappel, Robin Guier, Herzyl Legaspi and Desiree Stone were also in action Sunday for UC Davis. The tournament was the second of three for the Aggies this fall.

In Flight C singles, it was Harris and Athavale in the consolation final. Harris won the first set 6-2 before taking set two, 7-5.

The remaining three matches for the Aggies took place in doubles consolation. Guier and Kappel were featured in a Flight A semifinal match won by Fresno Pacific's Sasha Fisher and Jolanta Twaworska, 8-4.

In Flight B, Athavale and Shapiro defeated Saint Mary's Caitlin Aloia and Feline Charlot, 8-2, in the consolation final. In addition, Legaspi and Stone fell to Lindsay Griffin and Audrey Jenks of Portland, 8-6, in a round robin match.

UC Davis concludes fall play next weekend at the ITA Northwest Championships in Berkeley.
