FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - Kristin Hall scored an unassisted goal in the 35th minute to lead Boise State to a 1-0 victory over UC Davis in the opening game of Northern Arizona's La Quinta Inn & Suites Mountain Classic collegiate women's soccer tournament Friday.

The Aggies fall to 0-3 on the season, all against members of the Big Sky Conference.

UC Davis outshot the Broncos by a 17-9 margin and managed a shot and a corner kick in the final minutes of play. Lindsey Raymond had four attempts for the Aggies while Kristin Aja added three.

The game took a physical turn down the home stretch as a total of three yellow cards and a red card were issued in the final three minutes of play.

Kim Parker and Michaela Morrison split up goalkeeping duties for Boise. Parker had one save in the first half while Morrison stopped two shots on goal in the second period. Aggie keeper Krystyn Lizak posted four saves in net.

UC Davis returns to tournament action against host Northern Arizona on Sunday.
