Causeway Close To Sellout; Fan Information Noted

DAVIS, Calif. - The 51st annual Causeway Classic this Saturday at Toomey Field is close to becoming a sellout with fewer than 600 tickets remaining for public sale as of Thursday afternoon, UC Davis Athletic Department officials announced.

With less than 48 hours remaining until the 3:30 p.m. kickoff between the Aggies and the Hornets, only 578 reserved seats remained available to the public and only 36 general admission. A total of 229 free tickets - available only to UC Davis undergraduates - also remained.

Fans are reminded that alcohol is not permitted in Toomey Field or on the UC Davis campus, BBQ's are prohibited and cars are limited to one space in the parking structure adjacent to the stadium. Outside food may not be brought into Toomey Field. Sealed plastic water bottles are permissable.

Saturday's game will be broadcast on Comcast (Channel 2) in the greater Sacarmento and Roseville areas. It will also be available on KHTK-Radio (1140 AM) and KDVS (90.3 FM).

Traffic entering campus is expected to be heavy and fans are urged to arrive early to avoid delay into to the stadium.
