DAVIS, Calif. - UC Davis will highlight its preseason drills on Friday night when the Aggies host the Blue-Gold scrimmage beginning at 7 p.m. at Toomey Field.
The scrimmage is open to the public and admission is free.
UC Davis has been practicing since Aug. 11 in preparations for their first season in the Great West Football Conference which kicks off on September 4 as the Aggies host South Dakota State at 6 p.m. UC Davis finished the 2003 season with a 6-4 record, its 34th consecutive winning campaign.
Following Friday's scrimmage - which took a one-year hiatus in 2003 as the Aggies scrimmaged at Stanford - UC Davis will move into a regular game week practice schedule in final preparations for the Jackrabbits.
