Sean Quinn comes to Davis after serving as the Associate Athletic Director for Finance and Administration since June 2017 at UMass. He played a key role in developing and implementing the department's operating budget and long-range capital and operations strategic planning.
"I want to thank Rocko DeLuca and the leadership team at UC Davis for providing me with this tremendous opportunity," Quinn said. "I am excited to get started at such a prestigious institution in support of high achieving student-athletes, coaches, and staff. It is a great time to be an Aggie."
Quinn's other duties in Amherst included oversight of varsity team support services that focused on team travel, recess support, sports camps and auxiliary services. Quinn also served as the Sports Program Administrator for men's swimming & diving, women's swimming & diving, and tennis.
Previously, Quinn spent 13 years overseeing the UMass Athletic Ticket Office, most recently as the Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Operations. During his tenure in the ticket office, he was the primary contact for UMass' partnership with its ticketing vendor. He worked with the Sales and Fan Experience Office and Minutemen Club staffs to plan pricing structures, season ticket holder operations and benefits and cultivate new ticket purchasers.
A University of Massachusetts alum, Quinn earned his bachelor's degree in sport management in 2004 and his MBA in 2013. He will be joined in Davis by his wife Stephanie.
