Prior to his time at SDSU, Kosich spent several seasons at the University of South Alabama, ultimately serving as Assistant Coach and Chief of Staff. During his tenure, the Jaguars never posted a losing season and reached both the 2021 CBI Tournament Final Four and the 2022 Sun Belt Conference Tournament Championship.
