Maria Aderson joined the UC Davis Track & Field staff in December 2025 after spending the 2024 season with SF State. While at SF State Anderson coached the men's and women's distance teams as an assistant coach.Â
Prior to SF State, Anderson spent the past six seasons with Elizabethtown College where she worked her way from being a Volunteer coach to Associate Head Coach. During her time there, the men's and women's team won the 2018 Landmark Conference Cross Country Championship, three athletes qualified for DIII NCAA Cross Country Championship, 11 reached the podium for conference Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field and two qualified for the Atlantic Regional Track & Field Championships.
Anderson earned her Master's in Art Education from Millersville University in 2022. She was a four-year member of the Elizabethtown College Cross Country and Track Teams and graduated with a degree in Fine Arts.
