UC Davis Athletics

Letty Macias has been named the Athletic Communications Fellow as of July 2024. She is the primary contact for Field Hockey, Men’s Tennis, Women’s Tennis, and Beach Volleyball. 

Letty is a proud UC Davis graduate and studied Cinema and Digital Media with a minor in Communication. 

Before becoming a fellow she worked in the Department of Strategic Communications as a social media intern where she assisted with creating, developing, editing, and distributing social media content across all official UC Davis social media channels.

Before Strategic Communications, she was an intern in the UC Davis Athletics department where she worked under the digital media fellows her junior year of college. In this role she assisted the fellows in capturing game day content through photography and videography, as well as some social media work. 

A fun fact about Letty is that she competed in Synchronized Swimming (now called Artistic Swimming) for 12 years and even won a National Championship with her team in 2021.
