James joined the Aggie family on November 18, 2024, after working with the Southern Utah University athletics department for two and a half years.
In his time with the Thunderbirds, James worked in the Communications department, spending his first year as an undergrad gameday intern before being promoted as the primary media contact for cross country and track & field in his senior year.
Following his graduation, James was promoted once again to the Sports Information Graduate Assistant, working as the contact for women's basketball and volleyball while also having a hand in the communications of all other Southern Utah sports.
A native of Salt Lake City, Utah, James graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications with an emphasis in journalism and sports communication in April 2024. He is currently continuing his education at SUU, working on a Master's Degree in Professional Communication.
