UC Davis Athletics

Okamoto was a former assistant coach to the University of Colorado Track and Field team, specializing in sprints and jumps between the years 1986-2002. Since 2016, he has also coached for UC Davis, leading the men's and women's teams to consecutive conference championships. Going globally, Okamoto has also trained athletes from the Japanese and Romanian national teams; sending nearly 40 athletes to the big stages to compete in the Olympics and the world Championships.
