Alex Pritchard enters his first season as coordinator of video and data analytics for UC Davis men’s basketball in 2026-27 after three seasons with the program as a student manager.
Pritchard oversees the Aggies’ video operations, supporting opponent scouting, game analysis and player development. He also provides analytical tools and insights to assist the coaching staff with team strategy and individual player development.
Pritchard joined the program in 2023-24 and was promoted to head student manager before the 2025-26 season. In that role, he led a staff of 10 students supporting daily operations, on-court player development and analytics.
His experience also includes an internship in the Dallas Mavericks’ business development department, where his work focused on media strategy and analytics, particularly the organization’s MavsTV platform.
A native of Edinburgh, Scotland, Pritchard attended University High School in Irvine, California, where he played basketball for four years. He graduated from UC Davis in spring 2026 with a bachelor’s degree in economics and a minor in education.
