• 2021 Big West Conference All-Academic Team

2021: Appeared in 17 of the team's 19 matches... Finished with two goals and four assists for six points... Added five steals and seven drawn kickouts to her stat line... Found the back of the net in matches against UC Santa Barbara (March 21) and Fresno Pacific (April 17)... Had two assists in the second match of a doubleheader against the Gauchos... Swiped single steals in five different matches.

2020: Finished with one goal and four assists in 13 games played... Collected three steals and drew one kickout... Scored her first career goal vs. Pacific (2/23) at the Barbara Kalbus Tournament. 

ORANGE LUTHERAN HS ’19: Dual-sport athlete all four years for the Lancers in swimming and water polo… Spent two years as a utility before shifting to a center defender… Voted Orange Lu’s Most Improved Player junior year, before picking up Defensive Player of the Year accolades senior year… Helped the Lancers to a CIF Trinity League title in 2019… Two-time participant in the California State High School Water Polo Championships, finishing first in 2016, and third in 2018… Also swam the 100, 200, 500 free… Competed seven years at the club level for United, SoCal, Northwood, and ODP… Picked up 2015 JO All-American First Team honors.

PERSONAL: From Huntington Beach, Calif… Parents are Maria and Mark Haynes… Has an older brother, Kyle… Loves outdoor activities, and plans to minor in art… Proudest personal accomplishment is winning the CIF DI regional championships at Orange Luther HS… Scoring first left-handed goal in 12 & Under is a close second… Favorite movie is Shrek… Sports hero is Michael Phelps… Non-sports hero is Neil Armstrong… Plans on a career in nursing… Top of her bucket list includes seeing the Northern Lights, and hiking Machu Picchu… Chose UC Davis Athletics because she wanted a top-notch academic university that had a high-quality women’s water polo program with an outstanding coach.
