2019: Saw action in the cage in 7 games this season for a total of 34 saves… Played first full game against Iona (Mar. 3) and recorded season-high 12 saves… Posted strong defense against No. 4 Cal (Feb. 16) and No. 2 Stanford (Feb. 16), notching four saves against the Golden Bears and five against the Cardinal… Notched two of her three assists against Iona, and two of her three steals against No. 1 Stanford (Apr. 19).

EL DIAMANTE HS ’18
Three-sport star for El Diamante, playing as a utility in basketball, a goalie in water polo, as well as swimming the 50 free, 100 breaststroke, and the 200 medley and free relays… In her freshman year of basketball, she was awarded a Coaches Award, and in her senior year of water polo, she was awarded the MVP award after collecting a .719 average block percentage and having 258 saves for the 2017 season… Set a block record of 295 saves in her junior year of water polo… Played for Royal 559 WPA in Clovis, Calif.

Parents are Jason and Andrea Hooyer… Mother Andrea played soccer at Purdue… Older brother Kevin attended Sacramento State… Favorite movie is Hercules… Lists sports hero as Jackie Robinson and her non-sports hero is her brother… Plans on becoming an orthopedic surgeon in the Navy, and starting her own practice… Favorite hobby is crafting… Take away everything she owns except her succulents… Chose UC Davis because of the cows.
