2024: Appeared in 22 matches in her senior season due to injury...Despite this, ended third in the team with 23 assists and registered four goals...Made a game-high of four assists against UC Merced...Recorded 11 steals and 3 field blocks...Won three sprints...Earned the 2024 Scholar Athlete Award.

2023: Appeared in all 29 matches during her junior season...Finished second on the team with 24 assists...Scored 14 goals on the year...Recorded 17 steals...Registered three multi-goal games, including back-to-back two-goal performances on April 15 and April 22.

2022: Appeared in 27 of the team's 28 matches during her sophomore season...Scored five goals and handed out seven assists...Recorded six steals and five drawn exclusions...Posted a hat trick of assists on Feb. 13 against UC Irvine...Tallied a goal and an assist on two occasions (Feb. 19 and April 16)...Earned the 2022 Scholar Athlete Award. 

2021: Appeared in nine matches, playing 77 total minutes... Finished with four goals (on eight total shots) and four assists for eight total points... Added five steals to her stat line... Scored a season-high two goals against UC San Diego on April 10, and added single goals against Fresno State (Feb. 27) and Fresno Pacific (April 17)... Finished with single assists in four different matches... Swiped three steals against the Sunbirds in the opener of a doubleheader, adding two more in the nightcap.

NEWPORT HARBOR HS ’20: Garnered All-Southern Section third-team honors as a senior... Also made All-Sunset League second team and won team’s Bill Barnett Legacy Award that year... Helped team to Southern Section Div. 2 title as a sophomore, then boosted Sailors to section semifinals as a senior... Played club ball for Newport Beach WPC...Four-time USA Water Polo Academic All-American from 2016-2020...Also a three-year varsity letterwinner for the swim team, Salem competed in the CIF Southern Section Championships in the 200 medley relay and 500 freestyle. 

PERSONAL: Born in Newport Beach, Calif.... Majoring in English, with career aspirations of becoming an author... Proudest personal accomplishment was winning the Bill Barnett Legacy Award, named for her hometown water polo legend...Parents are Christy and Dustin Salem.
