Four-star recruit out of San Jose according to TennisRecruiting.net... Parents are Olena and Nick... Something people may not know about her is she used to figure skate for 8 years... Her career sports highlight is reaching semifinals of multiple ITFs... Her sports hero is Maria Sharapova... Sappa chose UC Davis because she really enjoyed the environment and the coaching staff, she thought they were incredibly personable and was able to tell that they would contribute a lot to her growth as a player, and as a person.
