Biography
2020-21: Placed 12th on both 1-meter (231.70) and 3-meter (230.25) at MPSF Championships, her only meet action during COVID-shortened season.
2019-20: ALL-MPSFÂ FIRST TEAM on the platform...Combined with teammate Kendall Menard to tie for second in the platform final at the MPSF Championships with a school record score of 235.85 (Feb. 22)...Other season-best scores include: 1-meter (263.40), 3-meter (277.13)... MPSF All-Academic honoree.
2018-19: ALL-MOUNTAIN PACIFIC SPORTS FEDERATION SECOND TEAM on the platform… Led the Aggies on platform with a career-best score of 221.35 at MPSF Championships on Feb. 23—the second-highest score in the event in program history… Also finished 10th on the 3-meter board at the conference meet with a collegiate-best score of 294—the fourth-highest score by an Aggie diver in school history… Took home top honors in a road dual against MPSF colleague San Diego, pacing the field with a career-best 279 in the 1-meter program (Oct. 20)... MPSF All-Academic honoree.
2017-18: ALL-MPSF SECOND TEAM on 3-meter boards… Posted the fifth-highest score in school history on the platform, scoring a 198.90 to finish ninth at the MPSF Championships… Recorded a zone-qualifying score of 270.67 on the 1-meter board in the final home dual of the season against San Jose State on Jan. 20… Finished with the third-highest score of the season on the low board with a 261.40 at MPSF Championships to finish sixth.Â
OAK GROVE HS ’17: Class of 2017 Valedictorian… Four-year varsity letter winner in diving and two-year varsity letter winner in swimming… Finished fourth at the Central Coast Diving Sectional and ninth at the State Championships in 2015… Finished second at the Central Coast Diving Sectional and eighth at the State Championships in 2016… Earned All-American Diving award in 2016… All-American Academics in 2017.
PERSONAL: Born in San Jose, Calif… Parents are Don and Suong… Has two siblings, Tien and Katelyn… Competed for the Santa Clara Diving Club from 2009-2017… Regional and Zones qualifier (2010-2017)… Age-Group Nationals qualifier (2010-2014)… AAU Nationals finalist on 1-meter, 3-meter, and platform (2016)… Career plans include working in the medical field.
