2014-15: Finished 16th at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships in three events: 200 fly (2:08.66), 200 IM (2:07.55), and the 400 IM (4:33.48)... Set season high's in all three events during the prelims of those three events with a 2:06.59 in the 200 fly, a 2:06.37 in the 200 IM, and a 4:30.07 in the 400 IM... Also set season-best times in three events at the Texas Hall of Fame Invitational: the 200 free (1:56.75), the 100 fly (57.47), and the 200 back (2:08.04)... Posted season bests in the 100 free (55.39) at the Aggie Open on Jan. 10 and the 1000 free (11:01.55) at Loyola Marymount on Nov. 1.
2013-14: Redshirted the season.
2012-13: MOUNTAIN PACIFIC SPORTS FEDERATION ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM... Best times of the season include: 200 free (1:52.44) and 500 free (5:02.14) at Mizzou Invite; 100 fly (55.57), 200 fly (2:03.80), 200 IM (2:05.87) and 200 back (2:04.19) at MPSF Championships.
2011-12: ALL-MOUNTAIN PACIFIC SPORTS FEDERATION SECOND TEAM in 200 fly and 800 free relay... Placed 7th in 200 fly at MPSF Championships, hitting 2:02.72 in prelim heat... Edged previous best of 2:02.76, set at Mizzou Invite, to improve No. 5 all-time standing in school history... Swam second leg of Aggies' 2nd-place 800 free relay (7:18.05) at conference... Clocked season-best 100 fly of 56.45 at Mizzou Invite, T9th in program annals... Also broke five-minute mark in 500 free at Missouri, touching in 4:59.51 - 7th all-time at UC Davis.
2010-11: Finished season at Allington Memorial meet, posting season bests in eight events: 200 free (1:54.49), 500 free (5:05.30), 1,000 free (10:27.56), 1650 free (17:43.07), 100 fly (58.16), 200 fly (2:04.40), 200 back (2:10.04) and 400 IM (4:32.56)... Marks in 1,000 free and 400 IM both ranked 9th in school history at season's end.
MONTE VISTA HS '10: Three-time North Coast Section championship qualifier... Placed 9th in 100 fly (57.97), 12th in 500 free (5:01.70) at NCS meet as a senior, helping Mustangs place 5th as a team... Helped Crow Canyon Sharks to 2010 Far Western Long Course Championship... Also selected to Junior National team.
PERSONAL: Born in Walnut Creek, Calif.... A linguistics major who aspires for career in speech pathology... Parents are Jim & Sandie Troup... Has two siblings, Tyler and Lexy... Ironically claims a fear of drowning.
