UC Davis Athletics

Henderson first joined the Aggies in 1983 as the interim head coach for the UC Davis women's program. During that lone season at the helm, Henderson guided the Aggies to a fourth-place NCAA finish, was selected Coach of the Year in the conference, and boasted an unprecedented four individual national champions. Among his proteg's are Cal Aggie Athletic Hall of Fame enshrinees Anna Pettis-Scott and Jamie McClellan.

In his 13 years as senior coach for the Woodland Swim team, he garnered three Sierra Nevada Swimming Coach of the Year honors and guided numerous members of the national junior team.

Henderson graduated from Sacramento State in 1980 with a degree in social science.
