Biography
2022-23: 2023 MPSF ALL-ACADEMIC… Participated in every meet this season… Swam the 100 and 200 fly at MPSF Championships… Finished 11th in the 100 fly with a season best 55.04… Season best 2:08.83 in the 200 fly came against UC San Diego.
2021-22: 2022 MPSF ALL-ACADEMIC...Qualified for the 'B' final of the 100 fly in 55.36 at the MPSF Championships...Made the 'C' final of the 200 fly and finished in 2:06.44...Also competed against Pepperdine, Nevada, UCSD, Fresno State, and Pacific.
2020-21: ALL-MPSF SECOND TEAM in both butterfly events, placing 5th in 100 (55.77), 8th in 200 (2:05.46)... Also competed in 50 free (24.45 in time trial) at conference championships.
2019-20: ALL-MPSF FIRST TEAM in the 100 fly... ALL-MPSF SECOND TEAM in the 200 fly... Swam a personal record and No. 2 time in school history in the 100 fly at 54.20 to finish third at the MPSF Championships (Feb. 21)... Followed up the next day with another personal record and the No. 10 time in school history in the 200 fly, 2:02.35, to finish fifth (Feb. 22)... Set a new personal record in the 50 free at 24.22 at the Phill Hansel Invite (Nov. 21)... Other season-best times include: 100 free (53.81), 200 free (2:01.92), 100 back (1:00.22).
FREMONT HS '19: Set a school record in the 100 fly four years in a row...back-to-back Santa Clara Valley Athletic League champion (El Camino Division) in the 100 fly...third at the 2019 Central Coast Section meet in the 100 fly and sixth in that event at the CIF State meet...swam for the Santa Clara Swim Club from 2006-19.
PERSONAL: Sporting career highlight was the 2019 CIF State meet...sports hero is swimmer Simone Manuel...plans to become a physical therapist or an athletic trainer...favorite movies are Mulan and Train to Busan...chose UC Davis for the community feel and support in and out of the water.
