2020: Season canceled by the Big West Conference due to COVID-19, student-athletes will not lose a year of eligibility and maintain their athletic standing for the 2021-22 academic year.

SAINT FRANCIS HS ’20:  Led SFHS to a Central Coast Section championship in 2018 and a berth in the 2020 championship game… Named Outstanding Senior Athlete by school officials in 2020… Teammates selected her as their captain in her junior and senior seasons… Member of the 2019-20 Athletics Director Council… Scholar-Athlete Award recipient throughout her entire high school career… Three-time All-West Catholic Athletic League first team honoree… All-Central Coast Section selection in 2019… Graduated Magna Cum Laude… Named to her school’s High Honor Roll from 2016-20… Student council officer from 2016-20… National Honors Society member from 2018-20.

PERSONAL: Youngest of Annie and Tony Beers’ two children… Both of her parents graduated from San José State… Her older brother, AJ, earned his degree from Cal Poly… Competed for MVLA, an ECNL organization based in Mountain View-Los Altos for a decade… Throughout her tenure with MVLA, it won national championships from 2016-19, NPL West titles from 2017-19, consecutive Northwest Conference crowns in 2016 and ’17, a State Cup title in 2015 and advanced to the Surf Cup’s championship game in 2017… Avaya Stadium is her favorite facility that hosted one of her competitions… Indiana Jones is her favorite movie… Painting, snowboarding and traveling are her favorite hobbies… Going on a wildlife safari, becoming fluent in another language and visiting every continent are the top three things on her bucket list… Chose UC Davis because of its outstanding academics and the opportunity to play for an elite program and coaching staff.
