- 2024-25 Big West Commissioner's List - With Honors
2026: Competed in 27 matches throughout her junior season, compiling an 11-16 record across the second and third flights...Competed with five different teammates throughout the season, including Kaitlynn Chastain, Kinley Lindhardt, Kaitlyn Smyth, Kendal Steller, and Kimi Waller...Grabbed her first win of the year against CSUN on Mar. 13 with Lindhardt...Compiled a four game winning streak from Apr. 12-17 that included home wins against Santa Clara and Sacramento State...Finished her season with a game clinching win against Cal State Bakersfield in the Big West Championships on Apr. 24.
2025: On roster, did not compete.
2024: Shelby Santos competed in 6 of the
35 total regular and postseason matches for UC Davis in her first year with the Aggies… Santos spent her time at the fourth and fifth flights picking a perfect 3-0 record on court 5… Was partnered with Alexandra Leal, Tabitha Mitchell, Mia Olen and Kate O’Steen at various points in the season.
CARONDELET HS '23
Santos played 4 years of indoor volleyball for the Carondelet Cougars, as well as 2 years for their beach volleyball team... She played a variety of positions for both indoor and beach teams including middle blocker, middle, and outside hitter... Her sophomore year the Cougars indoor team finished first in their section as well as their league... Her junior year the indoor team went on to finish first in their section and 3rd in the league, she received an East Bay Athletic All-League honor that season as well as beach volleyball team MVP...  Santos senior year boasted numerous accomplishments, she received another East Bay Athletic All-League honor, won Carondelet High School Athlete of the Year, and Volleyball MVP, this season she also had a .420 hitting average (5th in California)... She also received beach volleyball MVP her senior season.
PERSONAL
Parents are Roque and Debbie... Has three sisters, Shaila, Siena, and Skye... Both parents were collegiate swimmers and her father competed in the Olympics... She was a scholar athlete as well as on the honor roll all 4 years of high school... Her favorite movie is Tangled... Her sports hero is Brandie Wilkerson... She chose UC Davis because the amazing academics and sports, she loved the community at Davis and the community and support on the beach volleyball team.
