2021: Finished the year with an 8-17 overall record at the twos, threes, and the fours… Ended the year at 1-1 in the twos, 6-6 at the threes, and 1-10 at the fours… The six wins at the threes were second on the team… Posted her first win of the season at the fours against a nationally receiving votes Saint Mary’s squad on March 6, winning in straight sets alongside teammate Alexa Rockas… Racked up back-to-back wins against CSU Bakersfield and CSUN in San Luis Obispo at the threes, downing the Roadrunner pair in straight sets on March 26 and following that up with a three-set victory over the Matadors a day later… Also posted back-to-back triumphs against Colorado Mesa and Missouri State in Arizona on April 3, winning both in straight sets alongside teammate Madelin Smith… Added a win with Smith against San Jose State at the twos on April 11, and back-to-back wins over the Spartans and Sacramento State on April 18 and April 24, respectively, at the threes with Smith at the end of the year.
2020: Appeared in all eight duals for the Aggies… Posted a 2-6 mark at the No. 1 spot in the Aggies’ lineup during the shortened 2020 season… Provided the clinching point in back-to-back matches against Utah (2/29) and San Jose State (3/7) with partner Paloma Bowman in straight sets… Went three sets in back-to-back contests against Santa Clara and Ottawa.
2019: Earned All-Big West Conference honorable mention honors along with partner Lauren Matias at the No. 1 spot in the UC Davis lineup for 15 matches… Finished 6-9 overall… Won three-straight matches at one point during the year thanks to victories over Sacramento State, CSU Bakersfield, and CSUN at the Big West Challenge in Pismo Beach, Calif., on March 29-30… Five of their wins came against Big West opponents.
LOWELL HS ’18: Made All-Academic Athletic Association first team for three straight seasons, helping team snare San Francisco City championships each year... Added AAA Player of the Year as a junior... Played setter, right side and outside hitter throughout her prep career... Competed for Vision VBC (Los Gatos) for 10 years.
PERSONAL: Born in San Francisco, Calif.... Majoring in psychology... Parents are Jon Paul Seslar and Jennifer Banaszek... Name is pronounced "SESS-ler"... One of three siblings, along with Emma (21) and Williams (15)... Emma graduated from UC Davis in 2018... Grandfather, Cas Banaszek, played offensive line for the 49ers from 1968-77.
