2020: Finished seventh at the Cal Invite (3/7) in the 100m with a time of 11.11... That was the only meet the Aggies competed in since COVID-19 forced a premature end to the season.

PATTERSON HS ’15/MODESTO JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played football and baseball for Patterson HS his freshman year… Held a .406 batting average as an outfielder… Competed in the 100, 200, and 400 his junior and senior year… Three-time All-Western Athletic Conference Champion… Earned Conference MVP, Team MVP and MIP, the Tiger Pride Award, and the Captain’s Award his senior year… Ran the 100, 200, and 400 at Modesto Junior College. Earned the Captain’s Award his second year.

PERSONAL: Born in New Orleans, La… Parents are Lazonia and Tristan Cherry… Has six siblings, Maya Harney, Marques Spears, Lawyer McBride, and Kyra, Trista, and Tyrell Cherry… Plans on becoming a plastic surgeon… Proudest personal accomplishment is going to UC Davis… Michael Johnson is his sports hero, and Tristan Cherry, Sr. is his non-sports hero… Favorite movie is Love Don’t Cost a Thing… Most people don’t know that he is a milkshake fanatic… Top three things on his bucket list are to go skydiving, visit Antarctica, and to attend a Super Bowl… Chose UC Davis Athletics because of the phenomenal track program, and it is one of the most reputable schools in the country.
