2008: Lone appearance was UC Davis Quadrangular... Went 2:26.48 in 800 during that meet. 2007: Finished 9th (11:33.99) at Div. I Independent Championships... Best mark was 11:23.46 at Woody Wilson Classic... Competed in 1,500 three times, running season-best 4:49.90 in Sacramento State Dual... Also ran open 3K in that meet, crossing in 10:49.08. CROSS COUNTRY: On 2008 roster, but did not appear in a meet... Redshirted 2007 season... Raced in all five team meets in 2006... Best finish was 28th at Aggie Open. ARCATA HS [apos]06: Division IV runner-up (18:59) at North Coast Section cross country championships as a senior, helping team capture title... Went on to place 16th (19:23) at state D-IV championships... Voted Co-MVP as a senior... Placed 12th at NCS championships as a sophomore... Also earned Most Inspirational and Most Improved as a center and forward in basketball... Won school[apos]s Evelyn Shelding Award as outstanding athlete of the year for 2005-06. PERSONAL: Born in Garberville, Calif.... Majoring in clinical nutrition... Parents are Kevin & Katrina Knox... Hopes to become a pediatrician and join Doctors Without Borders...
