CLAIREMONT HS [apos]09: Posted All-Central League finishes in cross country for four straight years, advancing to San Diego Section each time... Finished 9th in 3,200 (10:26.15) at CIF-SDS meet as a junior, then followed up with a 14th-place PR of 9:48.56 as a senior... Won Academic Distinction and Gerald Stryker Memorial Scholar awards in 2009.

PERSONAL: Born in Los Angeles, Calif.... Majoring in exercise biology... Parents are Enrique & Nora Pradel... Proudest personal accomplishment was breaking the five-minute mile as a high school freshman.
