2018: Recorded the top Aggie marks in the shot put, discus throw, and hammer throw… Found a spot in 10th in the UC Davis Record Book for the shot put after recording a personal-best throw of 16.29m at the Woody Wilson Classic on Apr. 14… Also updated his previous best discus throw mark by 0.04 meters at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate meet on Apr. 19… Posted a season-best hammer throw of 54.55m at the Causeway Classic on Apr. 27.

2017: Recorded a lifetime best of 165-9 in the discus at the Big West Championships, placing ninth... Competed in the shot put and hammer as well... Posted top-three finishes in all three events at Causeway Classic and Aggie Open... Hit a PR in the hammer throw at the Mt. Sac Relays (184-5)... Finished fifth in the shot put at Mondo Team Challenge (50-6.25).

2016: Threw an eight feet PR in the discus at the Big West Championships to finish eighth and earn All-Big West honorable mention (161-6)... Also finished fourteenth in the shot put (46-7.25)... Season-best came from Woody Wilson Classic, where he placed second (49-0.75)... Finished third at Mondo Team Challenge (48-1.75).

LOS OSOS HS: Competed on the varsity track & field team all four years… Voted team captain for three consecutive years… Set the school record in the discus, throwing 192 feet and 8 inches… Two-time team field MVP.

PERSONAL: Parents are Alexandra and Marih Pertusati… Has an older sister, Elise, who attends graduate school at American University… Majoring in Communication.
