Biography

2011: Joined team in time for Big West Conference Championships, placing 16th in 100 with team season-best 10.95... Also ran as part of 8th-place 4x100 relay (41.88).2010: Had team[apos]s season-best times in both 100 (10.89 at Aggie Open) and 200 (21.86 at Stanford Opener)... Also went 10.92 in 100 at Stanford... Raced indoors twice, running 60 in 7.04 at Husky Classic.

2009: Owned team[apos]s No. 2 time in 100, running 10.81 at Cal Outdoor Opener... Nearly equalled that mark with 10.82 at Cal-Nevada state meet... Member of winning 4x100 relay (41.25) at Sac State[apos]s Mondo Invitational.

FRANKLIN HS [apos]08: Advanced to CIF state meet in both 100 (3rd) and 200 (6th) as a senior... Posted prep PRs in each event at that year[apos]s Sac-Joaquin Section Masters meet, hitting 10.55 and 21.30 to win respective titles... Best wind-legal 100 was 10.70, set during CIF-SJS Division I finals... Helped 4x100 relay place 2nd (42.64) in 2008 Masters final... Also competed for Oakland Police Activities League (PAL) club team... Won USATF Region 14 championship in 100 and 4x100, plus 2nd-place showing in 200... Four-year honor roll student.

PERSONAL: Born in Elk Grove, Calif.... Majoring in communication... Parents are Michael & Kazuko Banks... Proudest personal accomplishment was finishing 3rd (in 100) at 2008 CIF state meet.
