2010: Hit season-best shot of 11.30m (37-1) at Woody Wilson Classic... Best discus was 38.73m (127-1) at Johnny Mathis Invite... Also threw the hammer twice, posting 35.99 (118-1) in Aggie Open.
SIERRA HS [apos]09: Twice voted Most Valuable Field Athlete... Placed 17th in shot (33-3) at Sac-Joaquin Section Masters as a senior... Won Valley Oak League titles in both shot (33-11.5) and discus (113-4.5) to advance to sectional... Placed 1st in discus (117-4), 2nd in shot (35-6.25 prelim) at VOL meet as a junior... Also lettered in softball (outfielder), earning team[apos]s Most Improved award in 2006... Won numerous Lobo Gold awards for posting GPA of 4.0 or better in a semester.
PERSONAL: Born in Apple Valley, Calif.... Majoring in neurobiology, physiology & behavior... Parents are Von & Ruth Westover... Proudest accomplishment was breaking SHS shot and discus records in her first year as a thrower.
