Biography
2020: Finished second in the High Jump at the Cal Invite (3/7) with a height of 1.86m (6-01.25)... That was the only meet the Aggies competed in since COVID-19 forced a premature end to the season.
BERKELEY HS ’15/MERRITT COLLEGE: At Berkeley HS, played basketball the first two years as a small forward… Moved on to track the last two years, running the 300 hurdles and high jumping… 2015 Bay Shore League high jump champion... At Merritt College, focused on high jump, and added the triple jump… 2017 Bay Valley high jump champion.
PERSONAL: Born in Oakland, Calif… Parents are Melanie and Andy DeGiovanni… Andy is a scientist at UC Berkeley… Older sister Ezzie graduated from UC Santa Cruz… Honor Roll student from 2012-15… Proudest personal accomplishment is his Associates Degree for Transfer in Mathematics from Laney College… Chose UC Davis because it is a great school for engineering.
