2009: Lone appearance was in 5,000 (18:47.36) at Hornet Invitational, good for 8th place.

2008: Redshirted.

CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in four meets as a sophomore in 2009, including 10th place in Doc Adams Open home meet... Redshirted in 2008... Competed in five meets as a freshma, including Big West Conference Championship and West Regional.

EL MOLINO HS [apos]07: Twice named as school[apos]s Female Athlete of the Year... Finished 3rd (18:29) at state Division IV cross country meet as a senior... Won North Coast Section title to advance to states... Also a state meet and CIF-NCS Meet of Champions qualifier in track & field... Set school records in both 1,600 and 3,200... Finished 4th in 1,600 (5:03), 6th in 3,200 (11:21) at MOC.

PERSONAL: Born in Fallbrook, Calif.... Majoring in exercise biology... Parents are Ruben & Margarita Escamilla... Proudest personal accomplishment was qualifying for the state championships in both track and cross country.
