2009: Placed 8th (36:50.57) in 10,000 at Big West meet... Also appeared in 1,500 and 5,000 during the year, posting respective season-best marks of 4:53.65 (at Mondo Invite) and 17:50.87 (Brutus Hamilton Invitational).
CROSS COUNTRY: Only raced in Doc Adams Open as a senior, placing 45th... Redshirted in 2010... Lone appearance in 2009 was 16th place at Hornet Jamboree... Competed in four meets as a freshman in 2008, including Big West Conference Championship (64th).
CONCORD HS [apos]08: Named cross country team MVP three consecutive seasons... Qualified for CIF state championship twice... Owns school record in the 3,200... Placed 12th in the 3,200 at the North Coast Section Meet of Champions... Named class valedictorian and captured a scholarship award as selected by panel of teachers and students.
PERSONAL: Born in Oakland, Calif.... Majoring in organizational studies... Parents are Michael & Robannie Smidebush, both Aggie alumni... Older brother, Matthew, also attends UC Davis... Hopes to run a marathon before she[apos]s 30 years old.
