SIERRA COLLEGE: Earned CCCFCA All-State and Big 7 Conference Most Valuable Pitcher honors as a freshman, posting a 22-6 record and 0.80 ERA... Added All-NorCal distinction and her second straight All-Big 7 nod as a sophomore in 2008... Finished with 19-7 ledger and 1.06 ERA plus .318 batting average that year... Two-year member of President[apos]s Honor Roll... Wolverines ranked 8th in state in 2007, 12th in 2008.

CASA ROBLE HS [apos]06: Batted .324 and recorded a 0.41 ERA as a senior, earning first-team all-state and Capital Athletic League MVP honors... Selected as Sacramento Bee All-Metro Player of the Year in 2006 after making second team in 2004... One of four softball winners of Sacramento River Cats[apos] Robert K. Puglia Award as a senior... Played ASA ball for Roseville Heat, competing in under-18 nationals in 2005.

PERSONAL: Born in Sacramento, Calif.... Majoring in design... Parents are Jim & Terry Kociemba, whom she lists as non-sports heroes... Career highlight was leading Casa to Sac-Joaquin Section title in 2006.
