2013: Competed in 36 games... Penciled in the starting lineup as a left fielder on two occasions... Led all reserves with 13 runs... Stole two bases in as many attempts... Swiped a bag in the Aggies[apos] season opener vs. Southern Miss (2/8) and Santa Clara (2/16).

BURLINGAME HS [apos]12: Garnered All-Peninsula Athletic League honors in volleyball, soccer and softball (twice)... Also served as team captain in all three sports... Named Offensive Player of the Year in softball as a junior, batting .375 with .427 OBA... Improved to .395 batting, .471 OBA, .605 slugging as a senior... Played for San Jose Sting in 2010 and 2012, helping team to third-place finishes at Premier nationals and Colorado Independence tourneys in final season.

PERSONAL: Born in Palo Alto, Calif.... Majoring in design... Parents are Randal & Sharon Diekman... Both parents and older brother Greg are Cal Poly grads, but follows tradition of two uncles, an aunt and grandfather in attending UC Davis.
