2013: Named a starter in 15 of 25 games, primarily throughout conference action... Penciled in the starting lineup in left field on 12 occasions and another three as a DP... Batted .271 (13-for-48), scored 10 runs and drove in another three... Also batted .368 with runners on base and .357 when they were in scoring position... Stole eight bases in nine attempts... Hit 2-for-4, scored twice and drove in another two runs vs. Santa Clara (2/17)... Also scored twice against Cal State Fullerton (4/28)... Stole a season-high two bases at Hawai'i (3/29)... Recorded a season-high three hits against Cal State Northridge (4/7).

VISTA DEL LAGO HS '12: Earned first-team All-Sierra Valley Conference honors in each of final two seasons... Voted team MVP and Offensive Player of the Year both years as well... Helped Eagles capture SVC title and reach Sac-Joaquin Section title game in 2012.

PERSONAL: Born in Benicia, Calif.... Has not yet declared a major... Mother is Tracy Berhel... Twin sister Christina is an infielder on the Aggies' roster (Cat is younger of the two)... Cousin of C.C. Sabathia, although she lists Robinson Cano as her sports hero.
