2018-19: BIG WEST HONORABLE MENTION SINGLES… ITA SCHOLAR-ATHLETE… ITA ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM… Arrived to UC Davis in January 2019, and made an immediate impact as an Aggie… Tallied the second-highest singles dual match win total as one of just two players to win at least ten matches… Finished debut season with 10-7 overall and dual singles record… Won his first five consecutive matches to start the season 5-0… Played primarily at No. 3 singles, going 7-6, but stepped up at No. 2 to put up a 3-1 record… Notable results include straight-set wins over Yale’s Arnav Dhingra and Gonzaga’s Ruadhan O’Sullivan, a three-set loss to Mor Bulis of No. 5 USC, and was up a set point in the second set against No. 6 Stanford’s Michael Genender when the match was left unfinished… Clinched the 4-1 victory over UC Riverside’s Nabil Abdallah in three sets to send the Aggie’s to their sixth consecutive Big West Tournament semifinal… Made an appearance in the doubles lineup with Chethan Swanson at No. 3, going 1-3 with his first career doubles win.
