2020: Season canceled by the Big West Conference due to COVID-19, student-athletes will not lose a year of eligibility and maintain their athletic standing for the 2021-22 academic year.

LAS LOMAS HS ’19: Recorded 11 goals and six assists throughout his senior season as his team’s center back… Named team captain, co-MVP, Diablo Athletic League Most Valuable Defensive Player, earned All-North Coast Section First Team honors, and ended his final year at LLHS as the NCS’ runner-up for Player of the Year… Played left outside back as a junior, and ended the season with 10 goals and six assists… That year, he was named team captain, team MVP, Diablo Athletic League-Foothill Division’s Most Valuable Defensive Player and received TopDrawerSoccer California Winter State Star accolades… NCS officials bestowed First Team all-conference honors and selected him runner up for the section’s Junior of the Year award… Posted four goals and one assist, received Freshman Team MVP, all-league First Team and NCS Honorable Mention awards throughout his first two years with the program… Named a California Scholastic Federation Scholar and NCS Section Scholar-Athletes in each of his four years on campus.
PERSONAL: Tim is the oldest of Leesa and Tim Weidinger’s two children… Has a twin sister, Taylor, who is older by minutes and runs track at Oregon State... Competed for Walnut Creek Soccer Club 00/01 B Blue club team from 2008-19… That program was ranked as high as No. 3 in the nation… Honors earned by Weidinger while representing WCSC include: 2018-19 State Cup finalist, 2017 CV Surf Cup champions, 2017 Monarchs Cup champions, 2017-18 NHB Cup and 2017 Soccer by the Bay finalists… Most people do not know that enjoys listening to music, believes in the supernatural/extraterrestrial beings, loves watching all types of sports and is ambidextrous… Graduating high school with honors and earning an opportunity to play soccer at the Division I level are his proudest personal accomplishments… Buchanan High School is his favorite facility that he competed in… Marin FC featured the best athletes he competed against… The Goonies is his favorite movie… Michael Jordan is his sports hero… Non-sports heroes are his parents… Plans to become a physical therapist… Listening to music, attending sporting events, watching Harry Potter movies and taking naps are his hobbies… Top three things on his bucket list include visiting Europe, winning additional championships and playing soccer at the professional level… Chose UC Davis because it provided him with the best opportunity to succeed on the soccer field and in the classroom.
