• 2019 Big West Conference All-Freshman Team

2020: Season canceled by the Big West Conference due to COVID-19, student-athletes will not lose a year of eligibility and maintain their athletic standing for the 2021-22 academic year.

2019: Started 16 of 19 games played… Earned his first collegiate point by setting up Emmanuel Doherty’s goal at Cal State Fullerton (10/26)… Scored his first goal as an Aggie, a game-winner, when his team hosted the Titans in a Big West Conference semifinal (11/9)… Nine of his 20 shots were on goal… Took a season-high four shots vs. Cal State Fullerton (11/9) when the Aggies hosted a Big West Tournament semifinal… Recorded a SOG vs. CSU Bakersfield (9/6), at LMU (9/15), at Sacramento State (10/5), at UC Irvine (10/16), vs. UC Santa Barbara (10/23), at Cal State Fullerton (10/26) and against Louisville in the team’s home NCAA Second Round game (11/24).

SAN JOAQUIN MEMORIAL HS '19: Finished with four goals and five assists before enjoying a breakout sophomore season… In 2016, he posted 21 goals, 11 assists and earned all-league first team honors… Ended his junior season with All-CMAC first team recognition and league MVP honors by posting 20 goals and 21 assists… His team won league and Central Section championships that year… Earned all-league first team honors for the third straight season, and captured league MVP accolades for the second year in a row after ending his final season with 50 goals and 20 assists…Member of his school’s Honor Roll in 2017, ’18, and ’19.

PERSONAL: The oldest of Shelly and Michael Arfsten’s three children… Alexander and Zachary are his younger brothers… Spent nine years with California Odyssey Soccer Club, and was the leading NPL goal scorer… Chose UC Davis due to its athletic excellence, amazing facilities and the way the Intercollegiate Athletics cares for its student-athletes.
