• 2019 Big West Conference Honor Roll with Honors
2023: Started all 20 games between the posts for the Aggies...Finished second in the Big West in save percentage (.779) and recorded the third-most saves (67)...Kept six clean sheets which ranked second in the conference...Made a season-high seven saves in UC Davis' marquee victory over Ohio State on Aug. 27...Led the team in minutes played with 1,806 logged on the year.
2022: Started 16 games with 17 appearances between the posts...Preserved five clean sheets...Recorded 40 saves and a save percentage of .690...Made a season-high six saves and kept a clean sheet in a 1-0 victory over CSUN on Oct. 8...Finished third on the team with 1,441 minutes played.
2021: Appeared in 10 games in debut season...Made his collegiate debut at Seattle U, playing 45 minutes (8/28)...Played 11 minutes of a 3-0 win at San Diego (9/12)...Made career-high eight saves while playing all 110 minutes of a 1-1 draw at UC Irvine (10/13)...Earned first career win in against Sac State, making six saves (10/30)...Followed that performance by winning at CSU Bakersfield, making two saves and allowing on goal in a 3-1 win (11/3)...Ended the season with a .757 save percentage.
2020: Season canceled by the Big West Conference due to COVID-19, student-athletes will not lose a year of eligibility and maintain their athletic standing for the 2021-22 academic year.
2019: Redshirted.
ANALY HS ’19: Four-year letterwinner… Four-year AHS Honor Roll selection.
PERSONAL: Competed for Atletico Santa Rosa for 10 years… His club team captured a 2019 State Cup championship… Winning a NorCal State Cup at the national tournament in Denver is his proudest personal accomplishment… By winning that championship, Janssen realized how hard work really does pay off in the end… Santa Clara Sporting in his favorite facility that he competed in… Blocking multiple penalty kicks in the State Cup’s knockout round is his career sports highlight… Manuel Neur is his sports hero… Messias Souza is his non-sports hero… Playing professional soccer somewhere in Europe, and eventually becoming a wine maker are his career plans…l Loves mountain biking, road biking and surfing because each improves his strength, balance, and are excellent stress relievers… Top three things on his bucket list include playing soccer in Europe, mountain biking in Europe and surfing in New Zealand… Lists the people he met when he visited campus, the quality of soccer, coaches, facilities, academic programs, location and environment as the reasons he chose UC Davis.
