2012-13: Scored two points and recorded one steal in his first game played as an Aggie against Eastern Washington (12/17)... Recorded one rebound at Utah State (12/21)... Drained two baskets from three and recorded two rebounds, both career highs, to finish with a career-high six points vs. Hawai[apos]i (2/14).

DESERT HILLS HS [apos]12: Named Utah[apos]s 3A state MVP after averaging 13.4 ppg and 5.2 rpg to help lead the Thunder to a 21-4 record and a berth in the state championship game... Was twice named to Utah[apos]s all-state first team... Twice scored 20 points, one of those occasions took place in the state semifinal against Dixie HS... Posted matching double-doubles with 16 points, 10 rebounds against Juab HS and Spanish Fork HS... Dished a season-best six assists in win over Cedar City HS... Averaged 14.6 ppg. during his junior season a Desert Hills team that posted a 21-4 record... Also earned a trio of 3A state championships in the high jump for the track and field team, capping his senior season with a leap of 6 feet, 8.25 inches... Earned Diamond T Award for highest school involvment.

PERSONAL: Born in St. Louis, Mo.... Has not declared a major... Parents are Dr. Richard and Julie Ott... Not many people know he lived in Japan for three years... Event in history he wished he could[apos]ve witnessed was 'the invention of golf and how on earth they thought of the idea to put a tiny ball in a tiny hole from really far away.'... Sports hero is Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder... Advice to youngsters is: 'If you do what everyone else does, you get what everyone else gets. Work harder than everyone else if you want more than everyone else.'
