Colorado: Played in three games as a sophomore… finished the season with seven rushing attempts for 14 yards and completed one pass in four attempts… Played in six games as a true freshman and suited for all 12 games … Finished the season 5-of-12 passing for 35 yards … Against Minnesota, he completed 4-of-8 passes for 27 yards … He was also on the roster for the men’s basketball program after the conclusion of the football season prior to the start of spring football.
Tigard: A three-star recruit by the recruiting services … 247Sports listed him as the No. 5 player in Oregon and No. 17 dual-threat quarterback nationally … The 247 Composite listed him as the No. 5 player from Oregon, No. 28 dual threat quarterback and No. 902 overall player nationally … He was the No. 6 player in Oregon and No. 27 at his position as ranked by ESPN … Varsity starter his freshman through junior seasons for head coach Craig Ruecker … Tigard did not play in 2020 due to COVID-19 … His freshman through junior seasons, he helped Tigard compile a 30-5 record with 10 wins each season … He passed for 6,955 yards and 54 touchdowns in his career and rushed for 506 yards and seven touchdowns … As a junior, he led Tigard to a 10-1 mark, undefeated regular season and Three Rivers League championship while earning all-state and all-league honors … He threw for 2,767 yards and 23 touchdowns with a passer efficiency of 198.3 … He also ran for 206 yards and two touchdowns … His sophomore season, Tigard was 10-2 when he was again named all-state and all-league after throwing for 2,168 yards with 21 touchdowns and a passer efficiency of 179.3 … He added 188 yards rushing with one touchdown … As a freshman, Tigard was 10-2 and he passed for 1,020 yards and 10 touchdowns, adding 112 yards and four more scores on the ground … He also played basketball at Tigard and is one of Oregon’s top basketball prospects, as well, ranking as the state’s No. 5 player by ESPN and receiving scholarship offers from several Division-I schools … Future150 ranked him as the nation’s No. 33 prospect and No. 2 combo guard back in 2016 … He averaged 25.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.0 assist per game as a junior when he was the league’s Player of the Year and earned first-team All-State honors. He played AAU basketball for nationally ranked Seattle Rotary.
