LOS GATOS HS '15: USA Futures Elite 2015 participant... 2015 National Futures Championship selection... Three-year varsity letterwinner... Ranked No. 6 in the nation by Top of the Circle at the end of the 2014 season... Posted 54 points on 11 goals and 32 assists as a senior... Those totals led to another pair of all-league and all-section first team awards... Also named co-MVP... Her assists total was the third-highest among all high school players in the state... Named team captain in her junior and senior seasons... Recorded six goals, 19 assists and 31 points as a junior... Collected first team all-league and all-section accolades... Scored one goal, earned four assists and received the team's Most Improved Player award as a sophomore... Also played one season for LGHS's soccer team.

PERSONAL: She is the youngest of Brenda and John McLaren's two children… Being recruited by a Division I field hockey program is her proudest personal accomplishment… Competing against other Futures Elite players are the best athletes she has faced prior to joining UC Davis' field hockey program… The Olympic Training Center is her favorite facility, other than the one on campus… Helping her high school team become the No. 6 program in the nation is her career sports highlight… Would play soccer if she could play another sport at UC Davis… Plans to pursue a statistics-related career in either sports or data analysis… Wishes she could have witnessed the 1999 Women's World Cup championship match… Attend the Olympics, meet Mariska Hargitay and live in another country are the items on her bucket list… You can take away everything from her except her cat… The combination of strong athletics, academics, the campus and people are the reasons she chose UC Davis.
