2020-21: Appeared in all five meets for the Aggies in reining, ending the year with a 1-3-1 overall record… Earned Most Outstanding Performance honors in her lone win of the year on March 25 at the ECAC Championships, defeating Delaware State’s Anastasia Brugger with a score of 140.0… Scored a season-high 69.0 — the fifth-highest score by a UC Davis rider in the event on the year — in the season opener against Fresno State’s Lexee Padrick on Feb. 13, and added a 68.5 in a half-point loss to the Bulldogs’ Julianne Kelley on March 11… Added a score of 68.0 to forge a tie with Padrick in the regular season finale on March 13.
2019-20: Went 3-4 on the season in Reining...Set a new career-high on Nov. 15 against Fresno State with a 73 on Bella...Picked up first win of the season on Oct. 26 against Oklahoma State with a 68 on Rascal...Won again on Feb. 8 against UT Martin, 68.5-66.5...Capped her season with a 72-70 win at South Dakota State on Feb. 22.
2018-19: Competed in all five regular season Reining meets… Made her collegiate debut at No. 4 Texas A&M on Feb. 16… Strung together back-to-back road victories at No. 8 TCU and No. 4 SMU, defeating the Horned Frogs, 69-64.5, and the Mustangs, 70-65… Posted a season-high score of 72—the highest score by any Aggie rider on the season—in the Aggies’ home finale meet on Mar. 2… Represented UC Davis at the 2019 NCEA National Championships, co-leading the Aggies with a team-high score of 202.5… Compiled an overall record of 2-4 on the season.

Six-year West Coast Reining Horse Association competitor… AQHA Youth World Championship Show Qualifier (2016)… Reining by the Bay Youth 13&Under and Youth 14-18 Circuit Reserve Champion in 2013 and 2015, respectively… Non-Pro Shootout Level 1 Reserve Co-Champion (2013)... Two-time NRHA American Affiliate Championships Youth 13&under Reserve Champion (2011, 2013).
PERSONAL
Born in San Jose, Calif… Parents are Kristen and Zamir Zuraek… Has two sisters, Rachel and Gabriella… Her great uncle, UC Davis alum Lonnie Cagle, competed for the Aggies as a student-athlete on the football team… Graduated from Los Altos HS in 2017… AP Scholar Award and Associated Student Body Leadership Award recipient (2017)… Also earned California Scholarship Federation Gold Seal accolades as a senior… Two-year varsity letter winner as a midfielder for the Los Altos field hockey team… Began attending UC Davis in 2017… Gail and Ruth Oliver Scholarship recipient (2017-18)… Career plans include becoming a veterinarian… Her favorite hobbies include hiking, running, spending time with family and friends, and membership of Kappa Kappa Gamma.
